A lot can happen over a coffee & when you have old
friends meeting after a long time….you’ve got a scope for little more.
It was
normal winter evening in Delhi (as usual a bit cold and foggy). We had planned
the meet at Delhi’s heart -CP( Connaught Place). With confirmation from many
probable Alums who would be gracing the meet, with their special presence we
were all hopeful of an amazing evening. Soon we had our first comer- a punctual
consultant from AT Kearney. Then slowly the numbers began increasing and the
quiet din of CCD turned into gaffes and fits of laughter. All of us were enjoying the moment and all of
a sudden a batch mate of ours from SOM’14 entered and since he was late to join
the party , our seniors ensured that he was treated pretty well as he underwent the so called banned phenomenon (by academic institutions
in India) in a professional manner. Everyone really enjoyed his welcome
process.
Afterwards, the bankers demanded to be excused and many went on further
to enjoy the night life. Altogether, it was an amazing experience to meet our
Alums and chit-chat. Yes a lot did happen over coffee..!!
